Vigoo steals my design

Updated: It looks like the site has been removed after some gentle emails to the owner asking for it to be removed.

It has come to my attention that my site design has been stolen and used somewhere without my permission by a “company” called Vigoo. It’s not the first time it’s happened and it’s pretty crap that someone would have so little respect for all the hard work and effort that goes into a site that they would just rip it off and change bits to suit them.

Blatantly been nicked

If you have a look at the code, css and JavaScript you can see that the thief has simply changed it to their own copyright messages and left my comments! I have tried contacting the thief so far to no avail - so I am really quite unhappy.

I suppose this must happen quite a lot to other companies and individuals. It could be taken as something to feel flattered about, but stealing it is just that, stealing. I wouldn’t mind if someone “borrowed” some of the ideas but it’s just a blatant rip off.

Another annoying thing is that the user left feedback on the site and must have thought “Mmm, I’ll have that!”:-

Faiting: “you website is very good!”

Hmm, thanks for that…
